Hello!
My name is Makayla. Born & raised in the lovely state of Minnesota.
I'm with my highschool sweetheart, Cameron. We have 3 beautiful children that are my entire world. I'm a stay at home mom when I'm not behind my camera.
I've loved playing with a camera for as long as I can remember! Got my first Canon camera for my 16th birthday (man I feel old.) I have since grown my talent with every shot I've taken since that day!
What I enjoy most about photography is getting the real smiles out of you & your crowd! I love getting to know you & your family, friends, pets or guest, not just being someone that's coming to photograph for you & leave. I really think a good connection with your photographer is important!
I hope to have you on the other side of my lens soon & have a couple laughs while we do it!

Do you travel for photoshoots?
Of course! Let me know where we're going!
What should we wear for our session?
Depends on the season.
Spring is good for light, pastel or airy colors.
Summer is a good for deep colors.
Fall is good for the warm colors.
winter is good for either deep colors or light colors depending on the area.
This is all just an opinion! A lot of colors work with whatever season so don't take this to seriously!
How long does it take to get our photos?
For standard portrait sessions, your gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. For larger events & weddings, the turnaround time is typically 4 to 6 weeks.
Do you require a deposit or retainer fee?
Yes, I require a non-refundable holding fee of 30%.
Mini sessions sometimes have it posted on how much your deposit is.
How will the photos be delivered?
Your gallery is sent via email.
